CHARSADDA: in Charsadda history An ist open court was organized under the auspices of the District Public Prosecutor (DPP) Charsadda to address public complaints related to criminal cases. The event was attended by DPP Charsadda Sangeen Shah, Deputy Director Monitoring Zeeshanullah Afridi, Assistant Director IT Ashfaq Ahmed, Vice President of the District Bar Association Charsadda Shakeel Ahmad Khan Hashnaghre Advocate, Jawaad Khan Advocate, Alamzeb Khan Advocate, DSP Rasheed Khan, as well as local government representatives, and a large number of male and female complainants.

Complainants presented their grievances and applications, on which DPP Sangeen Shah issued on-the-spot orders for several cases, while others were forwarded to the relevant departments.

On this occasion, DPP Sangeen Shah, Vice President of District Bar Charsadda Shakeel Ahmad Hashnaghre Advocate, General Secretary Jawaad Khan Advocate, and others said that the holding of such open courts helps in the swift resolution of problems. They emphasized that the public often faces difficulties due to a lack of awareness about prosecution processes, even though prosecution plays a key role from the police station to the courtroom.

They said that such open forums will not only provide public awareness about prosecution but also reduce the burden on courts, as minor issues can be resolved on the spot. They also highlighted that prosecution, lawyers, and police work hand in hand.

They further mentioned that after the amendments to the Prosecution Act 2005, the prosecution has been granted more authority, which will improve the delivery of justice. They assured that no criminal will escape punishment, and no innocent person will be wrongly penalized.

Additionally, it was announced that poor and needy complainants will be provided FIRs free of cost, and free legal services by lawyers will also be made available.
