RAWALPINDI: Quetta’s renowned actor, director and chairman of Sangat Theatre Balochistan A.D Baloch acknowledged Asma Butt’s services and said that I consider Asma Butt my teacher in the world of art. Actors and institutions of Rawalpindi and Islamabad are very fortunate to have a rare diamond in the form of an experienced artist, director and rare humanitarian personality.

At Rawalpindi Press Club Liaquat Bagh, chairman of Sangat Theatre Balochistan A.D Baloch and President and Director of Bhittai Arts Council Sindh Rafique Eesani along with Asma Butt met writer Arshad Chahal and artists of the twin cities Shabbir Shah, Mumtaz Khan, Arshad Khan, Arshad Minhas, Afzal Latifi, Kaleem Khan, Noor, Aslam Mughal, Jhalak Ali, Reha Yousaf, Raheel Mustafa, Daheel Ijaz, Mehboob Ilyas, Haseeb, Hina, and others. On this occasion, suggestions were made to preserve the country’s culture and traditions through stage drama in a cheerful atmosphere. During this, director A.D Baloch said that we all recognize the artistic services of Ms. Asma Butt. The things I learned from her guided me in practical life. In addition to being an excellent and capable director and producer, Asma Butt is also a possessor of many talents. Asma Butt is the first female artist who went to various universities and institutions to train students and actors about miming. It is not an easy task to present facial expressions according to the environment and character. In which Asma Butt is a very expert artist. I pay tribute to her for her artistic services. The actors and artistic institutions of Rawalpindi and Islamabad are fortunate to have a valuable asset in the form of Asma Butt. If Asma Butt were in Quetta, I would have created a stir in the art world by now. Because she has always rendered her services to the extent of honesty and passion. Ms. Asma Butt thanked both the guests and said that she has rendered services to promote the culture and values of Pakistan through art in the past and will continue to do so in the future. She said that my morale has been boosted by your words. If you all are with me, I will further brighten the name of my country and nation. We all have to work together to make our culture and art known not only in Pakistan but also internationally.
