Barrister Saif says basic rights being denied; protest movement approved by PTI chief

PESHAWAR: Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, Barrister Dr. Saif, has said that jailed leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan was not being provided with appropriate facilities.
This he said after his meeting with Imran khan here on Tuesdsy
Barrister sauf added that the prison authorities were not taking proper care of PTI leader which he said was a.matter if grave concern.
“Both Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, are being subjected to mental torture” claimed Bareister saif.
Quoting Imran Khan.Barrister saif added that basic facilities like TV, books, newspapers and meetings with party leaders were being denied which he said was gross violation of the basic human rights.
Barrister Dr. Saif further said that Imran Khan was unaware of the Chief Minister’s visit to Lahore and the protest activities there. “I briefed him on the Chief Minister’s visit and the protest movements taking place,” said Dr. Saif.
He also revealed that Bushra Bibi was being subjected to psychological distress in prison.” She is being given contaminated water, and substandards food. A few days ago, she was bitten by a poisonous insect on her foot, due to which she remained unwell for a week.” Revealed Dr. Saif.
He went on saying that all those officials responsible for this inhuman treatment to Inran Khan and Bushra bibi would not be spared rather would be dealt with an iron hand, once Imran khan is out.
“Despite all the odds and sufferings, both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi remain steadfast and resilient. said Dr. Said adding that Imran khan was strong and firm and his spirits could not be lowered by torturing his better half.
Barrister saif also made it clear that in case of any loss to Bushra Bibi, Imrsn will never forgive the responsible ones.
“Both the leaders thoroughly discussed the senate polls and the on going protest.
On this occasion Imran Kham approved the final list of candidates for the senate polls including Mashal Yousafzai
Murad Saeed, Faisal Javed, Mirza Afridi, and Pir Noorul Haq Qadri. ,Azam Swati is nominated for the Technocrats seat whereas , and for the women’s seat, Rubina Naz will be PTI’s candidate for women seat.
Taking strong exception to the rifts inside party , Imran directed to launch a nation wide protest movement
He issued strict instructions that all leaders should refrain from issuing statements or launching social media campaigns against each other. “Instead of targeting each other on social media, it should be used to strengthen the party’s narrative,” he said.
He emphasized that all leaders must unite and remain focused on the protest movement. Imran Khan gave firm directions to the Chief Minister and other responsible individuals to immediately begin the protest movement.
