ISLAMABAD, August 14, 2026: Mr. Muhammad Anwar, Founder and CEO of Freedom Gate Prosperity (FGP), has extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Pakistan on the country’s 79th Independence Day and called for a renewed national commitment to democracy, equality, peace and shared prosperity.
Paying tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and all those who struggled for the creation of Pakistan, Mr. Anwar said that independence is not only a historic achievement but also a continuing responsibility. The nation must work collectively to uphold constitutional values, the rule of law, equal citizenship and respect for human dignity.
“Quaid-e-Azam envisioned Pakistan as a democratic and inclusive state where every citizen would enjoy equal rights and opportunities, regardless of faith, gender, ethnicity or social background. Transforming this vision into reality must remain our common national purpose,” he stated.
The CEO of FGP emphasized that Pakistan’s young population is its greatest strength. Greater investment is needed in quality education, skills development, entrepreneurship, civic awareness and decent employment. Women and girls must also be provided equal access to education, technology, economic opportunities and leadership roles.
Highlighting the importance of responsible digital transformation, Mr. Anwar said that technology and artificial intelligence should be used to improve education, public services, economic opportunity and democratic participation. At the same time, citizens’ privacy, freedom of expression and online safety must be protected. Media literacy and information integrity are equally important for countering misinformation, intolerance and political polarization.
He also called for transparent governance, stronger local governments, simpler business regulations and greater support for small enterprises and entrepreneurs. Referring to Pakistan’s growing environmental challenges, he stressed the need for climate resilience, environmental education and responsible use of natural resources.
“On this Independence Day, we should move beyond celebration and consider how each of us can contribute to a more peaceful, tolerant and prosperous Pakistan. Government, civil society, businesses, educational institutions and citizens all have a responsibility to promote integrity, inclusion and mutual respect,” Mr. Anwar said.
He reaffirmed FGP’s commitment to civic empowerment, democratic participation, digital inclusion, climate action, economic reform, and the empowerment of young people and women.
“Let us work together for a Pakistan where freedom is reflected in dignity, justice and opportunity for every citizen.”
