Zafar Khan Yousafzai, Chairman of the All Pakistan Secretariat Employees Coordination Council, has sent a detailed letter to the Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa highlighting various irregularities, lack of transparency, and administrative laxity in productivity funds, revolving funds, and government employee allowances. The letter states that employees have not been provided with adequate information about these funds, established in 2019, and that there are clear gaps in the financial records of the funds.

Chairman Zafar Khan Yousafzai pointed out that complete details regarding the inflow and outflow of the productivity fund were requested from the AG Office, but no clear records have yet been provided. He noted that employees are deeply concerned that some officials are overstepping their authority and directly interfering in the use of the funds.

The letter also included a ten-point report detailing issues such as unnecessary deductions, non-payment of dues, lack of computerized systems, giving undue benefits to certain staff members, and irregularities in fund distribution.

Chairman Zafar Khan Yousafzai demanded that an emergency meeting of the Board of Governors of the Productivity Fund Department be convened immediately to review fund records, audit reports, payments, and corruption concerns transparently. He further stated that employees’ pending dues should be paid within 10 days, and a clear mechanism should be established for transparent use of the funds.

In conclusion, the Chairman expressed hope that the Chief Secretary would take immediate action on this critical matter and address employees’ legitimate concerns on a priority basis.
