PESHAWAR: In a match of the National T20 Cup 2025–26, Karachi Region Whites defeated Bahawalpur Region by 12 runs under the DLS method after an exciting contest at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium.
Batting first, Bahawalpur Region scored 185 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Imran Randhawa played a brilliant innings of 59 runs, while Faizan Zafar contributed 49 runs. Muhammad Akram also added 25 runs to the total.
For Karachi Region Whites, Muhammad Umar delivered an impressive bowling performance, claiming three wickets, while Saim Ayub picked up two wickets.
In reply, Karachi Region Whites started aggressively and reached 78 runs without loss in 9 overs when rain interrupted the match. Saim Ayub batted brilliantly and scored 53 runs, while Abdullah Fazal added 25 runs, putting the team in a strong position.
Due to persistent rain, the match could not be completed and Karachi Region Whites were declared winners by 12 runs under the DLS method.
Saim Ayub of Karachi Region Whites was named Player of the Match for his outstanding all-round performance.
