Peshawar: Pakistan Muslim League Khan Qayyum Khan has appointed Khurram Iftikhar, a well-known and social figure of Peshawar, as the president of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In this regard, in a gathering held in Peshawar yesterday, the party’s central president Syed Saqlain Abbas Bukhari presented his notification to Khurram Iftikhar. Addressing the gathering, Khurram Iftikhar said that Pakistan Muslim League Khan Qayyum Khan has put a heavy responsibility on his shoulders. Earlier, my father had also rendered public services with the same party and I too, God willing, will raise the voice of the rights of the oppressed people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa day and night because the people are paying taxes but they are deprived of basic facilities. Speaking on the occasion, he said that at present there is a government of a political party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that raises the voice of justice, but it is only busy striving for the release of its party leader. They do not care about the people. He added that some political parties have gained power at the center but they do not care about the people. They have increased the prices of electricity and gas every day. Petrol is becoming more expensive day by day. And the rulers are enjoying the protocol and protecting their chair. He said that Pakistan Muslim League Khan Qayyum Khan has been and will continue to raise his voice for strengthening Pakistan and the rights of the provinces. Khurram Iftikhar further said that Insha Allah we will create such opportunities where the youth will be provided with IT and technical education facilities. Finally he said that his main goal is to establish peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and he will start a regular campaign for this. On this occasion, the party’s central president Saqlain Abbas Bukhari also spoke and said that our goal is not power but to raise the voice of the people and strengthen Pakistan. Because the whole of Pakistan is being affected by the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
