PROVINCE REPORT

PESHAWAR: The 42nd Syndicate meeting of Khushal Khan Khattak University, Karak (KKKUK) concluded successfully in Peshawar. Presided over by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khalily, the meeting focused on a crucial single-agenda item: the formal approval of the Selection Board’s recommendations to further strengthen the university’s academic and administrative faculties.

The high-level meeting witnessed active participation from key academic, administrative, and provincial stakeholders. Among the esteemed attendees were Engr. Nuaman Ahmed Khan (representative of the Higher Education Commission, Islamabad), Dr. Farid Ullah (Director of Colleges), and Prof. Dr. Mansoor Khattak.

Representing the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were Muhammad Tariq (Deputy Secretary, Establishment Department) alongside a representative from the Higher Education, Archives, and Libraries Department. Other notable external members included Justice (Retd) Abdul Aziz Kundi, Dr. Shad Muhammad, Dr. Ghani Ur Rehman, and Muhammad Ajmal Khan (Principal of Government Post Graduate College, Karak).

The principal officers of KKKUK actively contributed to the proceedings, including Registrar Abdul Baseer, who formally presented the agenda items to facilitate a comprehensive and engaging discussion among the participants. Also in attendance were Muhammad Ismail Khan (Director of Finance), Sharif Ullah (Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell), Abdus Salam (Director of ORIC), Uzma Manzoor (Assistant Registrar), Kashif Nawaz (PS to the Vice-Chancellor), and Muhammad Jan.

In his concluding address, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khalily expressed his sincere gratitude to the Syndicate members for their valuable insights, dedication, and continued trust and confidence in his leadership as the university enters its next phase of growth.
