PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) boxers delivered an outstanding performance at the National Boxing Championship held in Hyderabad, making history with a remarkable medal haul and overall achievements.
KP boxers secured a total of 2 gold, 4 silver, and 4 bronze medals, while the prestigious Best Boxer Award also went to a KP athlete—highlighting the province’s dominance in the البطولة.
This achievement marks a significant milestone in KP’s boxing history, as six boxers reached the finals for the first time, including one महिला boxer and five male boxers—a testament to the growing strength and diversity of boxing talent in the province.
The success was achieved under the supervision and support of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Boxing Association, whose efforts were widely appreciated. Both the KP Boxing Association and the KP Olympic Association praised the players for their exceptional performances at the national level.
Boxing fans across the country congratulated the KP athletes for their impressive display, recognizing their contribution to elevating Pakistan’s boxing profile.
On this occasion, General Secretary of KP Boxing Association, Khizar Jan, extended heartfelt congratulations to the players, coaches, and officials. He stated that this success is the result of the athletes’ hard work, dedication, and excellent teamwork. He further added that KP boxers have not only made their province proud but have also brought honor to Pakistan, expressing hope that this winning momentum will continue in the future.
