FC KP North Reaffirms Support for Martyrs’ Families

PESHAWAR: A dignified Defence Day and Martyrs’ Day ceremony was held at the Frontier Corps KP North Headquarters, Bala Hisar Fort, Peshawar, to pay tribute to the martyrs of the nation.
Inspector General Frontier Corps KP North Major General Rao Imran Sartaj, who was the chief guest, laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Memorial and offered Fateha for the departed souls. A smartly turned-out FC contingent also presented a guard of honour.
The IG FC later met the families of the martyrs, listened to their concerns and issued directions for the immediate resolution of their problems.
Addressing the families, Major General Rao Imran Sartaj said the nation’s martyrs were its pride and their sacrifices would always be remembered. He said the sacred blood of the martyrs remained a guiding light for the nation.
He assured the families of the martyrs that the Frontier Corps would continue to provide them with all possible support and assistance.
