Abbottabad :The ongoing Martial Arts Sports Gala, organized in collaboration with the District Sports Office and District Administration, has successfully concluded its Taekwondo competition at the City Sports Complex Abbottabad.
The event was organized under the supervision of District Sports Officer Abbottabad, Junaid Rehman, along with Major Faheem and Major Shuja.
The Taekwondo competition saw participants competing in various weight categories, with winners receiving gold, silver, and bronze medals.
The medal winners in different weight categories were:
– 15kg: Allahyar (gold), Arsalan (silver), Mustafa (bronze)
– 25kg: Sabatin (gold), Suhail (silver), Ahad Jan and Haseeb (bronze)
– 33kg: Shoaib (gold), Abdulmanan (silver), Ashan (bronze)
– 37kg: Khuzima and expert (gold), Sultan Habib (bronze)
– 45kg: Wasee (gold), Mustafa Awan (silver), Mujeeb and Ahmed Ali (bronze)
– 58kg: Abdul Rehman (gold), Muhammad Abdullah (silver), Muhammad Ali (bronze)
Impact and Future Plans
The event aimed to provide positive activities for the youth, keeping them away from negative influences and providing them with opportunities to excel in sports. The organizers expressed their commitment to providing all possible facilities to the youth to help them make their mark at the national and international levels.
