KOHAT:
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Aftab Alam Advocate, has along with Chairman Tehsil Gumbat Sajid Iqbal and PTI workers, visited the site of the tragic boat capsizing incident in Khusal Garh area of Kohat district and supervised the ongoing rescue operation to search for missing persons. It may be recalled that a boat carrying 9 people, including 5 Chinese and 4 Pakistanis, were on board capsized in indus river at Khusha Garh of Kohat. 2 people, Malik Shahzeb and a security guard of a gold mines company, are still missing. Rescue teams and divers have been searching for them since yesterday.
The law minister directed the relevant departments and institutions present at the spot to use all available resources for the early search for the missing persons and all possible measures should be taken to protect human lives.
Aftab Alam appealed the public not to hinder the rescue operation and fully cooperate with those engaged in the rescue operation and relief activities. He prayed that Allah Almighty grant Malik Shahzeb and Habib a high place in Paradise and grant patience to the bereaved families.
The aforementioned tragic incident has caused a wave of grief and deep sorrow in the area. Rescue operations are still ongoing and all possible efforts are being made to search for the missing persons.
