Peshawar (Sports Reporter) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Muhammad Ammad won the first Jan Sher Khan PSA Squash Tournament title. In the final, Muhammad Imad showed a brilliant performance and defeated Pakistan Army’s Anas Bukhari 3-1.
The final of the first Jan Sher Khan PSA Squash Tournament held in Islamabad was played between Pakistan Army’s Anas Bukhari and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Muhammad ammad, in which Muhammad ammad won 11-4, 11-6, 7-11, 11-5.
On this occasion, the chief guest, former world champion of Pakistan, Jan Sher Khan, distributed prizes among the winning players. Former world champion Qamar Zaman, Secretary of Pakistan Squash Federation Aamir Nawaz, and other important personalities were present on the occasion. 32 players participated in the tournament.
Muhammad ammad won his third consecutive title this year, having previously won the Junior World Squash Championship. Muhammad Ammad says that his coaches Faheem Gul, Tahir Iqbal, Munawwar Zaman, and physical trainer Waseem played an important role in this success. In addition, he also thanked Provincial Sports Minister Syed Fakhar Jahan and DG Sports Tashfeen Haider, who always supported him fully.
