Effective measures are needed to prevent such incidents at tourist spots, says Humayun Khan
Peshawar (Staff Reporter) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Secretary General Muhammad Humayun Khan has expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy that occurred at the tourist destination Shahi Bagh in Kalam Valley. He emphasized the need for more effective measures to prevent such incidents at tourist locations.
In his statement, Humayun Khan expressed regret over the boat capsizing incident in Swat and reiterated that stronger preventive measures are necessary at tourist spots to avoid such tragedies. He stated that the lack of effective safety protocols at tourist destinations leads to the loss of many precious lives, and similar unfortunate incidents have occurred in the past as well.
Humayun Khan added that the Pakistan Peoples Party stands in solidarity with the families of the deceased and prays for the swift recovery of the injured. He noted that in the boat accident, two women lost their lives while three individuals, including a child, are still missing — which is extremely tragic.
