ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has transferred Muhammad Shahazad, a BS-20 officer of the Information Group, and appointed him as Director General, Press Information Department (PID), Islamabad, with immediate effect and until further orders.
According to an official notification issued on July 9, 2026, Muhammad Shahazad was previously serving as Director General, Digital Communication Department, Islamabad. The transfer has been made with immediate effect as part of the ministry’s administrative arrangements.
