PESHAWAR: In connection with the celebrations of Jashn-e-Azadi and Marka-e-Haq, a grand Mushaira was organized at the Government Postgraduate College (GPGC) Miranshah under the directions of Director Youth Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr.Noman Mujahid and Deputy Commissioner North Waziristan Muhammad Yousuf Karim.
The event aimed to promote national spirit and cultural expression through the powerful medium of poetry.
Assistant Commissioner Miranshah Shah Waliullah Khan graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, alongside other distinguished guests including DEO Gul Daraz, Ghani Rehman, Principal Aurangzeb, Principal Akhtar Ali, and Secretary PRCS Imran Wazir.
A total of twenty-five renowned poets from across North Waziristan took part in the Mushaira, eloquently expressing themes of patriotism, resilience, and unity through their Urdu and Pashto poetic verses.
The gathering served as a vibrant platform for literary engagement and patriotic expression, resonating with the spirit of independence and national pride.
Souvenirs and appreciation awards were distributed among the poets and guests in recognition of their contributions to literature and their role in commemorating national events.
The event was widely appreciated by the participants and the local community and concluded with a note of gratitude for the organizers and poets who made the celebration memorable.
