D.I. KHAN: A ceremony on Seerat-un-Nabi was held at Agriculture University Dera Ismail Khan as part of the Ashra-e-Rehmat-ul-Alameen celebrations.
The event was organised on the directives of Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Latif Gondal and led by Registrar Abdul Basit Khan. Faculty members, administrative officers, heads of departments and university employees attended the ceremony.
The programme began with recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by Naat recitations by university participants.
Addressing the gathering, Registrar Abdul Basit Khan said the life of Prophet Muhammad was a complete model for humanity, teaching truthfulness, justice, compassion, discipline and respect for others.
He stressed that the teachings of Seerat-un-Nabi should be reflected in daily life through honesty, responsibility, sincerity and service to humanity.
At the conclusion, the registrar distributed special shields among the Naat reciters.
