PESHAWAR : The 61st National Table Tennis Championship will commence on April 6 at the PSB Gymnasium Hall in Peshawar, with all preparations successfully completed.
This was stated by Deputy President of the Pakistan Table Tennis Federation, Senior Vice President of the KP Association, and Tournament Director, Kifayat Khan, while speaking to the media.
Kifayat Khan highlighted that after 14 years, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been given the honor of hosting the National Table Tennis Championship, calling it a major achievement for the province. The championship will continue until April 10.
He further informed that teams from all four provinces, along with Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and Islamabad, as well as 11 departmental teams, will participate in both men’s and women’s categories.
Shahzad Islam will serve as the Organizing Secretary of the championship.
More than 200 players and officials from across the country are expected to take part in the event. Kifayat Khan assured that excellent arrangements have been made to provide top-class facilities to all participants.
