Admiral Naveed Ashraf addresses 54th Staff Course, stresses need for tech-driven warfare strategies

Rawalpindi:Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, visited the Pakistan Navy War College in Lahore, where he addressed participants of the 54th Staff Course during a formal session.

Speaking on the evolving maritime security environment, Admiral Ashraf emphasized the growing strategic significance of the Indian Ocean Region and its impact on Pakistan’s maritime interests. “The global power struggle in the Indian Ocean is constantly shifting,” he remarked, underscoring the dynamic nature of regional security challenges.

The Naval Chief highlighted the importance of adapting traditional warfare strategies to meet modern operational demands. “Adjusting conventional tactics to align with contemporary requirements is the need of the hour,” he said.

Admiral Ashraf further stressed the critical role of preparing a technologically capable and intellectually empowered naval force to meet the demands of future conflicts. “A smart, tech-driven workforce is essential to succeed in future wars,” he asserted.

Reaffirming the Pakistan Navy’s unwavering commitment to national defence, he stated that the force remains fully prepared to respond to both conventional and non-conventional threats.

The Naval Chief praised the professionalism, dedication, and academic performance of the course participants and congratulated the graduating officers for successfully completing the rigorous staff course.
