PESHAWAR: The National Center of Excellence in Geology (NCEG), and the Department of Geology, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing academic cooperation, fostering joint research, and creating new opportunities for students and faculty of both institutions.
The MoU was formally signed at NCEG by Prof. Dr. Liaqat Ali, Director, NCEG and Dr. Muhammad Sajid, Chairman, Department of Geology, AWKUM. Under the agreement, both institutions will collaborate in several key areas, including Joint research initiatives and collaborative academic projects, Internship opportunities for students, facilitation in research publications for students and faculty, collaborative field trips and geological surveys, organization of joint seminars, workshops, and academic events. The ceremony was graced by the presence faculty and students of the NCEG.
Both sides expressed their commitment to strengthening academic cooperation, advancing geological research, and creating a supportive environment for student and faculty development. The ceremony concluded with mutual appreciation for the collaborative efforts that made the MoU possible.
