ABBOTTABAD: Yet another proud moment for Abbottabad as a young female athlete, Neha Tariq Abbasi, hailing from Circle Bukot Patan Kalan, has been selected to represent Pakistan in the Mini Football Women’s World Cup being held in Iraq. She has already departed for Iraq to participate in the international tournament, carrying with her the hopes and prayers of her family, mentors, and the people of Hazara division.

Speaking before her departure, Neha expressed deep joy and gratitude over her selection, stating that representing Pakistan on such a prestigious platform is a matter of great pride not only for her family but also for the entire Hazara region. She said that such opportunities pave the way for women in sports to prove their talent at the global level.

Neha Tariq Abbasi is no stranger to sporting excellence. Before stepping into football, she made a name for herself in karate, where she was acknowledged as both a top player and coach in the Hazara region.
