PROVINCE REPORT

PESHAWAR: Chairman of Insan Dost Foundation Pakistan and Artist Action Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr Niaz Ali Khan, has said that the creation of new provinces is the need of the hour to improve governance and ensure timely delivery of justice and public services.

In a statement, he said Pakistan’s population has increased significantly over the past 75 years, making the establishment of new administrative units essential for efficient governance and better public service delivery.

Dr Niaz Ali Khan said the creation of new provinces would help bring justice, government institutions and development projects closer to the people, reducing unnecessary travel, delays and financial burdens.

He maintained that the objective of creating new provinces is not to undermine the rights of any region but to strengthen administrative efficiency, ensure equitable distribution of resources and provide timely solutions to public issues.

He urged the federal government, Parliament and all political parties to seriously consider the proposal and build a broad national consensus on the establishment of new provinces in the larger national interest.
