PESHAWAR: The newly appointed Capital City Police Officer, Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad, formally assumed charge of his office today. Upon his arrival at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines, he was warmly received by SSP Operations Masood Ahmad, SP Headquarters Ali Gohar, divisional SPs, and other senior police officers.
On the occasion, a smartly turned-out police contingent presented a guard of honor to the CCPO. Later, Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad laid floral wreaths at the Police Shuhada Monument and offered special prayers for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs, as well as for the security, peace, and stability of the country.
Paying rich tribute to the police martyrs, CCPO Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad said that the sacrifices of police officers and personnel are a golden chapter in history. He added that the martyrs laid down their lives for the sake of the nation, and the police force will continue to render every possible sacrifice in the future as well.
