D.I. KHAN: Six orphan girls supported by Nigehban Organisation Dera Ismail Khan have successfully passed their ninth and tenth-grade examinations with good marks.
Four girls appeared in the ninth-grade exam while two took the tenth-grade examination, and all six passed.
A management committee meeting was held at Nigehban Sweet Home, Gilani Town, under the chairmanship of Abul Azam Turabi. Humaira Nawaz, Ejaz Khattak, Muhammad Rehan, Zubair Baloch and Khurram Hammad attended.
The meeting decided to organise a Milad-un-Nabi gathering to encourage the girls, followed by a separate ceremony where supporters and relevant government officials will be invited to present awards to them.
Abul Azam Turabi congratulated the girls and supporters, saying their educational and personal development alongside proper care was a source of satisfaction. The meeting also congratulated member Inayat Adil Advocate on receiving the Dr Jameel Jalibi Award and offered prayers for the departed father of Zubair Baloch.
