PESHAWAR: A delegation of overseas Pakistanis led by Washington-based businessman Babar Abbas Chadhar met Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi at the Governor House here on Wednesday.
The delegation included Shahid Imran, Saleh Abbas, Sardar Noor Hayat Khan Baloch, and Tariq Abbas Chadhar. The meeting featured in-depth discussions on the role of overseas Pakistanis in strengthening Pakistan’s economy, exploring investment opportunities, and promoting a positive national image abroad.
Governor Kundi described overseas Pakistanis as the country’s “true ambassadors,” noting their critical contributions through remittances as well as their role in projecting a progressive image of Pakistan internationally. He underscored that the Pakistan Peoples Party has consistently pursued positive and progressive initiatives for overseas Pakistanis and will continue to address their concerns while extending necessary facilitation. He added that the party views the overseas community as a vital partner in national development.
The delegation lauded the Governor’s leadership and reaffirmed their commitment to contributing to Pakistan’s development, investment, and prosperity. They also extended an invitation to Governor Kundi to visit the United States.
