PESHAWAR :
On the occasion of Youm-e-Takbir, the All Pakistan Hindu Rights Movement issued a statement celebrating Pakistan’s defense self-reliance and reaffirming its commitment to national unity, interfaith harmony, and the country’s sustainable development.
Calling 28 May 1998 a historic milestone, the organization said Pakistan demonstrated its defense capability and national resolve through its successful nuclear tests, strengthening the country’s sovereignty and security.
“Pakistani Hindus celebrate Youm-e-Takbir as a national festival because it represents a defining moment in our history,” said Haroon Sarab Diyal, Chairman of the All Pakistan Hindu Rights Movement. “Pakistan belongs to all of us equally — Muslims, Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, and every other community — who share responsibility for its creation, protection, dignity, and progress.”
Mr. Diyal said the occasion was an opportunity to pay tribute to the armed forces, martyrs and their families, scientists, laborers, national leaders, and citizens whose sacrifices contributed to strengthening the country’s defense and sovereignty.
He added that the day also serves as a reminder of the collective responsibility to build a peaceful, developed, and inclusive Pakistan.
“On this important occasion, we renew our commitment to national unity, interfaith harmony, development, and the sustainable security of Pakistan,” he said.
The All Pakistan Hindu Rights Movement reaffirmed its pledge to work alongside all communities for a stronger, more prosperous, and inclusive Pakistan.
