Abbottabad:In the second round of the All Pakistan Saeed Khan Memorial Football Tournament, Panjpir Club Swabi edged past Jani Friends Baffa in a nail-biting encounter, securing their place in the quarter-finals with a 5–4 victory on penalty kicks.

The match, held at the local stadium, proved to be a thrilling contest. Both teams were tied 2–2 at full time. Baffa initially took the lead, only for Swabi to level the score. Baffa struck again, but Swabi fought back and equalized once more, pushing the match into penalties.

In the shootout, Panjpir Club Swabi held their nerve and clinched the win with a 5–4 scoreline.

The officiating team for the match included referees Aamir Khan Aami, Abbas Ali Khan, and Sami, while commentary duties were handled by Faridun Khan and Shaukat Hussain.

An exciting clash is scheduled for today between Shah Club Charsadda and Sajjad Shaheed Ogi. The pre-quarterfinal match is being organized under the supervision of Niaz Khan Jadoon Niazi, Major Zulfiqar Malik Ijaz Goga, Sadaqat Khan Jadoon, Haji Naeem Baig, and their dedicated team.
