PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Gymnastics Association has announced that the Peshawar District Gymnastics Championship will be held on August 13 at the Gymnastics Academy, Peshawar Sports Complex, with preparations in full swing.
Speaking to the media, KP Gymnastics Association Secretary General Mohammad Raja said the championship is being organized under the supervision of the provincial association and the banner of the District Gymnastics Association. He said the event aims to provide talented gymnasts from Peshawar with an opportunity to showcase their skills and discover emerging talent.
He added that athletes have already begun intensive training, while the organizing committee is making final arrangements to ensure the successful conduct of the championship.
Mohammad Raja said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has immense gymnastics talent, and the provincial association remains committed to promoting the sport at the grassroots level and encouraging young athletes. He expressed confidence that the championship would help identify future stars capable of representing the province and the country at higher levels.
He also emphasized the importance of regularly organizing such competitions to promote sports, engage youth in positive activities, and provide them with opportunities to develop their abilities.
