ISLAMABAD: Samar Haroon Bilour, Member of the National Assembly and former Member of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has extended her heartfelt gratitude to Javed Afridi, owner of Peshawar Zalmi, for sending a sports kit and gifts as a gesture of encouragement and goodwill.
In a statement issued from Islamabad, Samar Haroon Bilour appreciated the initiative taken by Javed Afridi, noting that such gestures play an important role in promoting sports culture and strengthening the connection between public figures and national sports teams. She highlighted that Peshawar Zalmi has not only emerged as a successful franchise in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) but has also become a symbol of pride and unity for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
She further expressed her unwavering support for the team, stating that she stands firmly with Peshawar Zalmi and believes in the players’ capabilities to perform at the highest level. She added that the team has consistently demonstrated resilience, professionalism.
