Islamabad:Chairman of the Pakistan Front Movement (PFM), Lal Dino Mari Baloch, issued a heartfelt press statement on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, extending warm congratulations to Muslims across the globe and urging unity, reflection, and action in the face of global challenges.

Baloch felicitated the entire Muslim Ummah, calling Eid al-Adha a profound reminder of the values of faith, sacrifice, and unity. He stressed that this sacred festival is not merely about the ritual slaughtering of animals, but a universal symbol of selflessness and unwavering devotion to a higher cause—values exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), whose willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail (Ishmael) remains a timeless example of submission to the will of God.

“True greatness of a nation,” he remarked, “cannot be achieved without the spirit of sacrifice. The story of Eid al-Adha teaches us that prosperity and progress come when individuals and communities are willing to surrender personal comforts for collective good.”

Baloch emphasized the broader messages of the occasion: gratitude for divine mercy, care for the less fortunate, and a renewed commitment to spiritual and moral duties. He highlighted the importance of sharing with those in need, especially during these times when many Muslim communities are struggling under oppression and hardship.

Drawing global attention to the plight of Palestine, Chairman Baloch made an impassioned appeal to the international community: “Enough is enough. The people of Palestine have suffered far too long under the ruthless occupation of Israel. This Eid, we cannot turn a blind eye to their pain. The world must act decisively for their freedom.”

He strongly condemned the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for its continued inaction, urging the body to uphold its founding principles. “The passive stance of the OIC is no longer acceptable. It must rise with full force to protect Muslims wherever they are persecuted—be it in Gaza, Kashmir, or elsewhere,” he said.

Chairman Baloch concluded with a call for unity among Muslim nations. “Our strength lies in our togetherness. Let us stand as one Ummah—bound by shared faith and common destiny—to uphold justice, dignity, and peace in the world.”
