ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Peoples Party Human Rights Cell has extended heartfelt congratulations to the nation as the country witnesses a remarkable week marked by significant religious and cultural observances, including Ramadan Sharif, Ash Wednesday, Chinese New Year, and Maha Shivratri.
In a joint statement, the office bearers said the convergence of these important occasions reflects the rich diversity and pluralistic identity of Pakistan. Each event carries a profound message of reflection, renewal, sacrifice, gratitude, and hope, reminding citizens that despite differences, they are united by shared values of humanity, compassion, and mutual respect.
The Cell reaffirmed its commitment to promoting peace, brotherhood, and interfaith harmony. The spiritual essence of Ramadan Sharif, the solemn reflection associated with Ash Wednesday, the devotion observed during Maha Shivratri, and the joy of Chinese New Year collectively inspire unity, love, and understanding across all communities.
Secretary General Malaika Raza prayed for lasting peace, stability, and prosperity for the country, urging the government, civil society, and religious leaders to promote dialogue, tolerance, and inclusivity. She emphasized that Pakistan’s strength lies in its unity and diversity.
Secretary Information Tariq Mahmood Ghouri also extended warm felicitations to the Hindu community on the sacred occasion of Maha Shivratri and expressed solidarity in celebrating faith, devotion, and peace.
