PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Science and Information Technology, Dr. Shafqat Ayaz, has said that the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is taking concrete and coordinated steps to turn its digital transformation vision into a reality.
He expressed these views during a meeting today in Peshawar with the Director General of Science and Technology and a team of IT experts. The meeting focused on ongoing departmental projects, the effective use of technology, and potential joint initiatives.
Dr. Shafqat Ayaz stressed that all initiatives should be aligned with the digital vision of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and PTI Chairman Imran Khan — to ensure maximum convenience, transparency, and digital services for the public.
He further noted that effective use of technology not only improves systems but also restores public trust.
“The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa considers digital development as a key pillar of progress and is committed to making public services more efficient, accessible, and citizen-friendly,” he added.
The Special Assistant also directed the department to accelerate the pace of all public welfare projects and ensure delivery of results at every level.
