MARDAN:
Member National Assembly, Ali Muhammad Khan,
along with DPO Zahoor Babar Afridi
formally inaugurated the project for the installation of solar energy systems in various police offices and police stations in Mardan. The project includes the solarization of the DPO Office Mardan, the Control Room at Police Lines Mardan, Takht Bhai and Shergarh Police Stations. These initiatives are aimed to modernize the police system, make it environmentally friendly, and free it from energy-related issues.
In his address, MNA Ali Muhammad Khan stated that the installation of solar energy systems is a significant step toward improving the performance of Mardan police and aligning it with modern requirements. He said that uninterrupted power supply to police offices and stations will not only enhance public service but also help in overcoming the energy crisis.
On this occasion, DPO Mardan Zahoor Babar Afridi remarked that providing reliable sources of energy for the police force was a crucial need, which is now being practically fulfilled. He added that with the solar system, offices and police stations will remain operational 24/7, ensuring continuity in crime-fighting operations and effective surveillance.
