Chakdara: “The best among people are those who benefit others; worship leads to heaven, and service leads to Allah.” Guided by this spirit, Abir Saeed Memorial Hospital has been providing quality healthcare services to the people of Chakdara for the past three years.

Since its establishment, the hospital has shown remarkable growth and public trust. In its first year, more than 40,000 patients were treated, followed by 60,000 in the second year, while in the third year the number reached 100,000 patients. During this period, over 1,000 successful surgeries were performed.

Abir Saeed Memorial Hospital currently comprises 17 medical departments, a 24-hour emergency service, and modern diagnostic facilities including MRI, CT scan, and other advanced medical equipment to ensure quality treatment at affordable costs.

In a major milestone, the hospital has been granted a Category ‘A’ license by the Healthcare Commission. Additionally, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) has formally started operations, further strengthening maternal and child healthcare services in the region.

According to Hospital Director Dr. Bilal Ahmed, the achievement of the HCC Category ‘A’ license and the establishment of the NICU are the result of public trust and the dedicated efforts of the hospital team.

Addressing the NICU inauguration ceremony, Chief Executive Alhaj Muhammad Saeed Khan, Director Dr. Bilal Ahmed, Board of Governors members Dr. Muhammad Rehman Shaheen and Dr. Arab Naz, Adinzai Qaumi Jirga Chairman Khurshid Ali Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Zakat Chairman Imtiaz Khan, and Olasi Khair Khigra Chairman Javed ur Rehman stated that the hospital is operating in line with modern medical standards, providing quality treatment at minimal fees, and will continue to improve its services over time.

The Healthcare Commission formally awarded the Category ‘A’ license to Dr. Bilal Ahmed and Chief Executive Alhaj Muhammad Saeed Khan. Shields and certificates were also distributed among hospital staff in recognition of their outstanding performance.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the children’s hospital and NICU was jointly performed by Dr. Muhammad Rehman Shaheen, Dr. Arab Naz, Dr. Bilal Ahmed, Zubair Shah, Centre Ahmed Hassan Khan, and other distinguished guests. The NICU was formally inaugurated, followed by a detailed visit of the hospital facilities.

All visiting dignitaries highly appreciated the services, facilities, and leadership of Dr. Bilal Ahmed, paying tribute to his commitment and contribution to healthcare in the region.
