TP REPORT
PESHAWAR: In collaboration with UNICEF, a six-day Training of Trainers (ToT) for Master Trainers on ALP Package D commenced at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Elementary & Secondary Education Foundation.
The session was inaugurated by Managing Director ESEF, Qaisar Alam, who welcomed the participants and termed the initiative a significant step toward institutional capacity building. He highlighted that, for the first time, ESEF has strategically selected its own human resource from within the organization for professional development. A total of 33 Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Assistants and Facilitators have been selected for the program.
The training is designed to equip Master Trainers with essential competencies for the effective implementation of the ALP Package D curriculum. It focuses on improving skills in lesson planning, participatory teaching methodologies, and the application of pre-reading and post-reading strategies. The program also aims to enhance participants’ ability to design and conduct diverse student assessments.
Additionally, the initiative emphasizes efficient management of ALP centers and provides hands-on experience through model training sessions, interactive group work, and guided activities.
Upon completion, the trained Master Trainers will transfer their knowledge and skills to 235 ALP Facilitators across various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ensuring standardized and high-quality instructional practices across all ALP centers under ESEF.
