ISLAMABAD: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Tuesday said quality education was the key to providing young people with a bright and secure future, urging students to equip themselves with modern knowledge and skills to contribute to the country’s development.
Addressing the 26th Convocation of Beaconhouse International College at the Pakistan-China Friendship Centre, Islamabad, the Governor said the youth were Pakistan’s most valuable asset and future architects, making the promotion of quality education and contemporary skills a national priority.
He said educational institutions were playing a vital role in nurturing the potential of young people and encouraged students to make full use of modern education and technological advancements.
Governor Kundi said Pakistan’s progress depended on an educated and skilled workforce, urging graduates to actively participate in the country’s socio-economic development.
He stressed that character building, alongside education, was essential for achieving success and advised students to embrace knowledge, research and positive thinking as their strengths.
Congratulating the graduating students, the Governor urged them to begin the next phase of their lives with confidence, hard work and a sense of responsibility, and to utilize their abilities in the service of the country and the nation.
