SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: An important and encouraging development has emerged for the people of Waziristan and the former FATA region. The registration process of the Waziristan Welfare Foundation has been formally completed, which is being regarded as a significant milestone in the promotion of welfare activities in the area.
The registration certificate of the foundation has been officially received by the organization’s Finance Secretary, Shabir Jan.
On this occasion, the office-bearers and members of the foundation expressed satisfaction and happiness, terming this success the result of collective efforts and continuous struggle.
For many years, the Waziristan Welfare Foundation has been rendering social services in Waziristan and its surrounding areas. In particular, the organization has played a remarkable and commendable role in the welfare and support of persons with disabilities.
Despite limited resources, the foundation has actively worked to assist deserving and disabled individuals, facilitate their registration at the government level, provide artificial limbs, and carry out other welfare activities.
According to the officials of the organization, after the completion of the registration process, the foundation will now further expand and organize its welfare and social initiatives in a more effective manner to provide maximum facilities to the people of Waziristan.
The office-bearers reaffirmed their resolve that the Waziristan Welfare Foundation will continue its mission of public service with sincerity and will keep playing its role in eliminating backwardness in the region.
