KHYBER: District Emergency Officer (DEO), Eng Shareq Riaz Khattak on Tuesday issued a monthly performance report for the month of June, 2025 and said that the Rescue1122 Khyber provided services during 319 general and 124 referral emergencies and saved precious human life and their properties.
According to the performance report the Rescue 1122 Khyber received 12973 calls among which 12654 were informative and drop calls.
The DEO said that the Rescue 1122 Khyber timely responded to the emergencies.
During the last month rescue services were provided in 36 road accidents,224 medical emergencies,16 fire incidents,17 firing/quarrels happens, 02 drowned and 24 other recovery cases, he added.
As per the direction of the health experts 124 patients were shifted (inside and outside of the district) to health centers under the supervision of trained crew members for necessary medical treatment, the report stated.
Awareness and training sessions were organized in schools, masonries colleges, government departments and other community centers to sensitize the participants of life saving techniques.
Keeping in view the severe hot wave to be graped the area and flood season, Rescue 1122, Khyber conducted drills to exhibit their abilities during natural disasters.
