PESHAWAR: The pre-conference workshops for the International Conference of Health Research (ICHR-26) have formally commenced at Rehman Medical Institute (RMI), marking the beginning of one of the region’s largest academic and research gatherings focused on healthcare innovation, research capacity building, and professional development.
The workshops are being held as a key academic component ahead of the main conference and are aimed at equipping participants with practical skills, modern research knowledge, and exposure to emerging trends in health sciences.
The opening ceremony was attended by prominent academic and administrative leadership including RMI CEO Shafique ur Rehman, Director Research RMI, ICHR-26Chairman Dr. Naseer Ahmed, Principal Rehman College of Dentistry Prof. Ghulam Rasool, along with the principals of all RMI colleges.
The ceremony formally began with Prof. Dr. Naila Irum Hadi cutting the ribbon, officially inaugurating the academic forum.
Speaking on the occasion, the speakers emphasized the importance of research-driven education, evidence-based medical thinking, and modern scientific approaches in strengthening healthcare systems and improving patient care. They noted that such initiatives play a vital role in promoting a stronger research culture among students, faculty, young researchers, and healthcare professionals.
The pre-conference workshops feature expert-led sessions on a wide range of contemporary and high-impact topics including Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Academic Writing, modern research methodologies, and healthcare research, providing participants with practical exposure to the latest tools and approaches shaping modern medical inquiry.
ICHR-26 continues to set new benchmarks in health research engagement, featuring 30+ pre-conference workshops and over 2000 participants registered for ICHR-26.
The conference has attracted participation from across Pakistan as well as international researchers from Russia, Spain, Italy, Qatar, Australia, and China, reflecting its growing global recognition and academic impact.
The pre-conference workshops will continue until April 16, while the formal proceedings of ICHR-26 will begin on April 17 and continue through April 19.
ICHR-26 stands as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and the advancement of evidence-based healthcare, while reflecting RMI’s continued commitment to research, education, innovation, and quality healthcare services.
