TANK: Regional Police Officer Dera Ismail Khan Ghulam Mubashir Meekan paid a special visit to District Tank, where he held a detailed meeting with police officers and personnel at the Tank Police Lines. He listened to their problems and concerns and issued necessary directives to the concerned officers for their immediate resolution.

The visit was aimed at reviewing the overall performance of Tank Police, assessing departmental affairs, boosting the morale of police personnel and ensuring effective measures for their welfare, safety and professional development.

Upon his arrival at the Police Lines, District Police Officer Tank Abdul Samad Khan warmly welcomed RPO D.I. Khan Ghulam Mubashir Meekan. SP Saddar D.I. Khan Asif Mahmood, SP CTD Iftikhar Shah, SP Investigation Tank Khalid Mahmood, along with other senior police officers, were also present.

A smartly turned-out contingent of Tank Police presented a guard of honour to the visiting RPO.

Tribute to Police Martyrs

During his visit, RPO Ghulam Mubashir Meekan also visited the Martyrs’ Memorial, where he paid rich tribute to the police martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

The RPO offered a salute and laid a floral wreath at the memorial. A special prayer was also offered for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and for the acceptance of their sacrifices.

Special Darbār for Police Personnel

A special Darbār was organized at the Tank Police Lines, providing police officers and personnel an opportunity to directly present their departmental and personal concerns before the Regional Police Officer.

DPO Tank Abdul Samad Khan welcomed the RPO and other senior officers and said that the Regional Police Officer had always attached great importance to the morale, protection and welfare of police personnel.

He said that RPO D.I. Khan had repeatedly expressed his desire to visit Tank personally, meet the police force and understand the challenges being faced by officers and personnel serving in the district.

DPO Abdul Samad Khan said that the RPO’s message, “Be brave, remain loyal to your colleagues, and terrorism will one day come to an end,” has become a source of courage and motivation for the officers and personnel of Tank Police.

He added that Tank Police is a disciplined, organized and united force and that its officers and personnel remain committed to defeating the nefarious designs of terrorists and criminals through unity, courage and professional dedication.

RPO Appreciates Courage of Tank Police

Addressing the Darbār, RPO Dera Ismail Khan Ghulam Mubashir Meekan said that he had been closely monitoring the performance of Tank Police for the past five months.

He said that reports and feedback regarding the professional performance of Tank Police had been continuously reaching him through different sources.

The RPO expressed his appreciation for the courage, determination and sense of duty demonstrated by Tank Police officers and personnel.

He said that the bravery, professional capabilities and commitment of the Tank Police force had greatly increased his respect and appreciation for its officers and personnel.

“Allah Almighty has chosen the police profession for us as a sacred responsibility,” the RPO said, adding that every police officer and official must perform this responsibility with honesty, courage, discipline and devotion to duty.

Online Orderly Room to Facilitate Police Personnel

RPO Ghulam Mubashir Meekan said that an Online Orderly Room had been introduced to facilitate police personnel posted in remote and difficult areas.

He explained that the initiative was designed to ensure that police personnel could present their genuine problems without unnecessary difficulty and receive timely and effective assistance.

He clarified that the purpose of the initiative was not to punish anyone but to provide a convenient mechanism through which the legitimate problems of police personnel could be addressed at their doorstep in a transparent and efficient manner.

The RPO further disclosed that he had shared his personal contact number with police personnel. He said that any police official facing a personal or departmental issue could contact him without hesitation and that every possible effort would be made to resolve the matter in accordance with law and departmental rules.

Welfare of Police Force Among Top Priorities

Ghulam Mubashir Meekan emphasized that the police force is a valuable institutional asset and that the welfare of its personnel, timely resolution of their legitimate grievances and maintenance of high morale are among his foremost priorities.

He said that a police officer who works in difficult and challenging conditions deserves institutional support, encouragement and a mechanism through which his genuine concerns can be addressed promptly.

The RPO also urged senior police officers to maintain close contact with their personnel and to ensure that genuine problems are resolved at the appropriate level without unnecessary delay.

Commendation Certificates Distributed

During the Darbār, RPO Ghulam Mubashir Meekan distributed commendation certificates among officers and personnel of Tank Police who had demonstrated outstanding performance.

He particularly appreciated the services and sacrifices of the Ghazis and other personnel who had performed their duties with exceptional courage and professionalism.

The RPO listened attentively and patiently to the requests and concerns presented by the police personnel. On several issues, he issued on-the-spot instructions to the concerned officers for necessary action and resolution.

Emphasis on Unity Against Terrorism

The Regional Police Officer urged the officers and personnel of Tank Police to make courage, discipline, loyalty, mutual trust and devotion to duty the guiding principles of their professional lives.

He said that the police force must remain united and alert in the face of terrorism and crime and should continue fulfilling its responsibilities with courage and determination.

He stressed that the sacrifices rendered by police officers and personnel in the fight against terrorism would always be remembered and that the force must continue moving forward with confidence and professional commitment.

Refreshment and Musical Programme for Personnel

At the conclusion of the Darbār, a special refreshment and musical programme was arranged for police and Pakistan Army personnel to provide them with an opportunity for relaxation and to strengthen mutual understanding, harmony and camaraderie.

RPO D.I. Khan, the Sector Commander South, police officers, district administration officials and security forces personnel participated in the programme.

A friendly and pleasant environment was created for the personnel, while special arrangements were also made for meals for the police and Pakistan Army personnel.

Commitment to Welfare and Professional Excellence Reaffirmed

At the end of the visit, RPO D.I. Khan Ghulam Mubashir Meekan reiterated that the welfare of police personnel, timely resolution of their legitimate problems, enhancement of professional capabilities and maintenance of high morale would remain among his top priorities.

He said that the sacrifices, bravery and professional services of Tank Police are a matter of great pride and appreciation.

He further stated that the police and security forces, through unity, mutual cooperation and professional commitment, would continue playing their effective role in combating terrorism and crime and in protecting the lives and property of the people.

Tank Police personnel expressed appreciation for the RPO’s visit and for his direct interaction with the force, describing the initiative as an important step toward strengthening morale, welfare and professional confidence among police officers and personnel serving in the challenging environment of Tank.
