PESHAWAR: Adviser to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Sports and Youth Affairs, Taj Muhammad Khan Tarand, met Pakistan’s renowned squash player Danish Atlas Khan (Tamgha-e-Imtiaz), a five-time Asian Squash Champion, in Peshawar.
During the meeting, matters related to the promotion of sports, encouragement of youth talent, and other important issues were discussed in detail. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Akhunzada Ismail Khan was also present on the occasion.
On this occasion, Adviser Taj Muhammad Khan Tarand presented a cheque of Rs. 500,000 to Danish Atlas Khan in recognition of his outstanding services and international achievements. He stated that the provincial government is committed to providing full support and encouragement to talented players to promote sports at the grassroots level.
