DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A dinner was hosted by the Miankhel family in honor of Rubina Khalid at Miankhel House on Dharaban Road, Dera Ismail Khan.
During the visit, Rubina Khalid held a special meeting with Fatehullah Khan Miankhel, Member of Provincial Assembly Sardar Ehsanullah Khan Miankhel, and PPP Divisional President Sardar Qaizar Khan Miankhel. Members of the Provincial Assembly Ashbar Jadoon, Shazia Tehmash, and Meher Sultana also accompanied her.
The meeting focused on party organizational matters and issues faced by beneficiaries of the Benazir Income Support Programme. Participants thanked the Chairperson for providing a mobile registration van and stressed the need to increase the number of beneficiaries in tehsils and remote areas of Dera Ismail Khan.
Rubina Khalid said the mobile registration van would play an important role in expanding the reach of the program and ensuring access for deserving women in far-flung areas. She added that the mission of serving the public without discrimination would continue and described the initiative as a gift from Benazir Bhutto to the women of Pakistan.
She also praised the Miankhel family for their political and public services, stating that their popularity among the people was the result of their continued dedication to public welfare.
