Defeats Johnny Friends Buffa 2–1 in a thrilling contest at Kunj Football Stadium

ABBOTTABAD:Sajjad Shaheed Ogi clinched the title of the Saeed Khan Memorial Football Tournament after defeating Johnny Friends Buffa 2–1 in a gripping final held at the Kunj Football Stadium.
The grand final was attended by special guests Rafiq Sardar and former Tehsil Nazim Ishaq Zakaria Advocate. The tournament was organized under the leadership of Niaz Khan Jadoon Niazi, Major Zulfiqar Malik, Ijaz Goga, Sadaqat Khan Jadoon, Haji Naeem Baig, and their dedicated team.
The match remained goalless in the first half, with both teams displaying solid defensive performances. However, Sajjad Shaheed Ogi surged ahead in the second half, scoring two crucial goals. Johnny Friends Buffa managed to pull one back, but it wasn’t enough to overturn the lead.
The match officials included referees Aamir Khan, Junaid Qureshi, and Sami, while commentary was provided by Faridun Khan, Abdul Hamid, and Shaukat Hussain.
Meanwhile, in the ongoing All-Pakistan round of the tournament, a highly anticipated match between Muneri Club Swabi and Shaheen Peshawar is scheduled for today.
