ISLAMABAD : Expressing his commitment to promoting friendly relations and mutual cooperation between Pakistan and Austria, Advocate Sardar Waqar Shahzad of Swat attended a prestigious reception held in Islamabad to mark Austria’s National Day.
The reception was hosted last night by His Excellency Wolfgang Oliver Kutschera, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Pakistan, and Ms. Susanne Nohl at the Austrian Residence, 50 Margalla Road, F-6/3, Islamabad. The event was attended by federal ministers, ambassadors from various countries, diplomats, and other prominent personalities.
During the event, Sardar Waqar Shahzad held cordial meetings with the Austrian Ambassador and other distinguished guests. They exchanged views on bilateral relations, mutual cooperation, and ways to further strengthen friendly ties between Pakistan and Austria.
On the occasion, Sardar Waqar Shahzad extended his heartfelt congratulations to the government and people of Austria on their National Day and appreciated the cordial relations between the two countries. He expressed hope that friendly ties and mutual cooperation between Pakistan and Austria would continue to grow in the future.
At the conclusion of the event, Sardar Waqar Shahzad thanked Ambassador Wolfgang Oliver Kutschera and Ms. Susanne Nohl for the invitation and warm hospitality.
