Islamabad: Sardar Waqar Shahzad Advocate had the honor of warmly welcoming Sheikh Talal Al-Aqeel of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during his recent visit to Islamabad.

On behalf of the people of Swat, Sardar Waqar Shahzad presented Sheikh Talal Al-Aqeel with a traditional Swat shawl, a symbol of the region’s rich heritage, respect, and renowned hospitality. The gesture reflected the deep cultural ties and enduring brotherhood between the people of Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, Sardar Waqar Shahzad expressed gratitude for Sheikh Talal’s kind words and gracious acknowledgment. He noted that Sheikh Talal’s remark, “Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are two countries, but one nation,” beautifully captures the historic and fraternal relationship shared by the two countries—one rooted in faith, cultural affinity, and mutual respect.

“May this bond continue to grow stronger for generations to come,” said Sardar Waqar Shahzad Advocate, reaffirming his commitment to further strengthening Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations through meaningful people-to-people connections.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have long enjoyed close diplomatic, economic, and religious ties, with both nations continuing to support each other on regional and international platforms.
