UPPER DIR: Sub-Divisional Education Officer Dir, Zakir Hussain, has stated that all possible measures will be taken to promote education in District Upper Dir, emphasizing that teachers must play a proactive role in increasing school enrollment and reducing dropout rates.
He expressed these views while chairing a meeting with teachers of the Chkiatan Circle. The meeting was attended by A.S.D.E.O Saifuddin, School Leader Rahmat Khan, Circle Incharge Sirajuddin, and all headmasters of the circle.
During the meeting, Zakir Hussain said that following the directives of the provincial government and the District Education Officer Upper Dir, an enrollment campaign has been launched across the district. He directed teachers to identify and enroll out-of-school children and take practical steps to minimize dropout rates.
He stressed the need to spread the message of “education for all” in order to ensure that the maximum number of children are enrolled in schools during the current academic year.
The SDEO also instructed teachers to maintain accurate and complete school records and remain in regular contact with the office to further strengthen the education system. He assured the teaching community of full cooperation in resolving administrative issues.
