Islamabad: A major fire completely destroyed Dr Salman Aesthetic Clinic located in Beverly Center, Sector F-6, Islamabad, causing heavy financial losses. A staff member of the clinic received serious burn injuries and was hospitalized.
According to initial details, the fire broke out due to flames originating from an adjacent restaurant, which quickly spread to the clinic and engulfed the premises. Firefighters managed to control the blaze after considerable effort, but the clinic was reduced to ashes.
This incident marks a second fire breakout in the same Beverly center plaza of F-6/1 within a week, raising serious concerns about fire safety arrangements and regulatory oversight in commercial centers of the federal capital.
Affected business owners and citizens have expressed frustration over the inaction of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), accusing it of remaining unmoved despite repeated fire incidents and apparent safety violations.
Residents and traders have demanded an immediate investigation, strict enforcement of safety regulations, and accountability to prevent such incidents in the future, warning that continued negligence could lead to loss of lives.
