PESHAWAR : The Secretariat Coordination Council organized a prestigious “Best PMS Officer Award” ceremony in Peshawar, with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Minister Muzammil Aslam attending as the chief guest. The event aimed to recognize and encourage Provincial Management Service (PMS) officers who have demonstrated outstanding professional performance.
During the ceremony, the best-performing PMS officer was presented with a shield and an honorary award. A large number of government officers, employees, and distinguished guests from various departments attended the event.
Addressing the gathering, Finance Minister Muzammil Aslam praised the professionalism, integrity, dedication, and commitment to public service displayed by PMS officers. He stated that recognizing and encouraging capable and hardworking officers enhances institutional performance and helps ensure the delivery of better public services.
On the occasion, Chairman of the Secretariat Coordination Council, Zafar Khan Yousafzai, said that the Council’s objective is to acknowledge the outstanding services of government officers and employees and motivate them to perform even better. He added that such ceremonies promote merit, healthy competition, and a spirit of public service within government institutions.
At the conclusion of the event, the Secretariat Coordination Council, its cabinet, and all the organizers were commended for successfully arranging the ceremony. Participants also expressed their resolve to continue recognizing and encouraging outstanding officers through similar initiatives in the future.
