PESHAWAR: Speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Babar Saleem Swati, has strongly condemned the tragic incident in Bajaur in which unidentified assailants opened fire, resulting in the martyrdom of Maulana Khanzeb and another individual.
Terming the loss of innocent lives as intolerable, the Speaker said that such cowardly acts pose a serious threat to social peace and stability.
Babar Saleem Swati expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased, stating that he stands in solidarity with the bereaved families in their grief. He prayed for the forgiveness of the departed souls and patience for their loved ones.
The Speaker urged the concerned authorities to conduct a thorough investigation and bring the perpetrators to justice in accordance with the law, to prevent the recurrence of such tragic incidents.
