PESHAWAR: A summer camp for children, organized under the supervision of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), is ongoing in Peshawar and has drawn participation from a large number of students across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The camp, which commenced on June 23, includes enthusiastic participation from students of schools and colleges based in Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, Charsadda, and Badaber.

As part of the camp activities, the Pakistan Army organized a Sports and Shooting Gala where children demonstrated their physical and mental skills through various competitive events. These included archery, air gun shooting, badminton, tug of war, and weapons handling under supervision.

The highlight of the event was the impressive performance by the participating students, who showcased discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship. A prize distribution ceremony was held where the chief guest awarded medals and prizes to those who performed exceptionally in various competitions.

Teachers and students widely appreciated the camp and described it as a significant initiative for the physical fitness, mental grooming, and personality development of youth.

Students shared their heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity:

“We, the students, are grateful to the Pakistan Army and ISPR for organizing the summer camp and sports gala,” said Arooj.

“This summer camp is the first step toward my dream of joining the Pakistan Army,” said Habba.

“Participating in various games has brought a new level of excitement and motivation,” said Syed Moin Shah.

“I’ve learned a lot from this camp and will leave with lifelong memories,” said Muhammad Abu Bakar.

The summer camp continues with full spirit and will conclude in the coming days with further engaging activities aimed at youth development, leadership training, and national pride.
